The basic steps of the Pedal Commander® installation are always the same regardless of the vehicle's make and model:

Turn off the ignition and wait 10-15 minutes with your driver's door open to allow your ECU to shut down.

Disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug, then plug in the heads to connectors on the Pedal Commander® harness.

Clean up the area where you want to mount the control unit with the alcohol wipe. Stick the bracket with the supplied velcro.

After you make sure the cables are secure and won't be tangled, you are ready to enjoy Pedal Commander®.

I had installed another well known accelerator enhancer on my 2023 Honda Ridgeline and had used the same make in other vehicles with satisfaction. I decided to try the Pedal Commander due to positive reviews and the fact you can use the bluetooth connection to change the settings while placing the unit out of site. I have it set to sport setting and the 4th level and love it. It is like having direct cable connection to throttle. This setting for me is like Goldilocks and the Momma bears porridge, just right. I would recommend Pedal Commander to anyone wishing for better throttle response from a start or going up inclines without having to floor the accelerator.

This is my second pedal commander so I’m familiar with the install. My other vehicle was a 2019 Toyota 4Runner. However I was disappointed that the install on my 2014 Honda Ridgeline was very different. I don’t know if you guys are aware, but on the 1st Gen Ridgelines, you must mount the pedal commander under the hood where the drive by wire interface is located! The pedal inside the cab has an old school metal cable not a molex plug. I had to go into Facebook for the install details. I hope that your device is waterproof and heat resistant. It’s working fine at the moment.
