INSTANT AND CUSTOMIZABLE THROTTLE RESPONSE
The Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series is a legend that needs no introduction. Since 1984, it has hauled loads, crossed rivers, and outlasted everything thrown at it across deserts, farms, and job sites worldwide. Toyota updated the J70 with a drive-by-wire system in 2009, and that is where things get complicated. Electronic throttle control reduces emissions but introduces throttle lag. The delayed and sluggish throttle limits the 70 series' real capabilities, whether you’re trying to power out of a ditch or merge onto a highway with a loaded trailer behind you.
The Pedal Commander® throttle response controller is the fix. It plugs directly into the 70 Series' accelerator pedal sensor with no tools and no permanent changes, and gives you full control over throttle response across four modes and 36 settings. Use Eco for precise low-speed crawling on the trail. Switch to City for a direct, cable-like feel on your daily commute. Push into Sport or Sport+ when you need instant response with no hesitation.
